This is a digital reproduction of an original woodblock print inspired by a few things... first and foremost the coolest fishing net I ever found. In the summer of 2022 we were thrifting for some outdoor gear when we stumbled upon a big metal fishing net. Sarah, my tall and thin friend, was holding it and BOOM I just saw her as a frog going fishing. I knew I had to bring it to life.

The energy behind the print is inspired by my childhood self, up north on Lake Michigan, racing down the beach to the natural spring turned pond to take a stab at catching frogs. It was my little happy spot and I felt so slick every time I held onto one of those slippery suckers.
